Blockchain

A blockchain or block chain is a growing list of documents or records, called blocks, that are linked using cryptography. Each block of record contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. By its design objective, a blockchain is resistant to modification of the data. Blockchain can be described as an open distributed entries/ledgers that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way.
